Veg Wisdom

And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor political, nor popular, but he must take it because his conscience tells him that it is right. - Martin Luther King, Jr.

leafEVEN is a non-sectarian, official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to educating the general public about the impact of their food choices.

So many problems of our society are due to misinformation, and vested interests spend billions keeping us misinformed! With so much misinformation, one cannot help but make destructive decisions. Only when we know all our choices, and the ramifications of those choices, can we reverse the harmful course that we unknowingly choose for ourselves and our children---and our world.

EVEN hopes to serve as a resource to provide factual information about the benefits of a plant-based diet, acting as a conduit to connect the person asking the question to an informed answer. EVEN is not the “food police”, nor do we want to be. We do not tell anyone what to eat; we tell them where their food comes from. We believe the right information in the hands of caring people lets them make compassionate, intelligent and informed choices for themselves, the animals, and the planet.

By our own choices, through the example of our own lives, all of us can make the world better or worse. Each day the choice is ours. What do we choose?
