Veg Wisdom

All education should be directed toward the refinement of the individual's sensibilities in relation not only to one's fellow humans everywhere, but to all living things whatsoever. - Ashley Montagu (1905-1999)

Veg Wisdom

I feel blessed that I was introduced to this [vegan] lifestyle more than 12 years ago [1996] by Dexter [their son]. I prefer to eat mostly raw or 'living' foods. The benefits for me are increased energy, a slowing of the aging process, and I have none of the diseases like hypertension, heart disease and diabetes that many people my age seem to get. - Coretta Scott King (1927 - 2006)

Veg Wisdom

Of all the teachings we receive, this one is the most important:
Nothing belongs to you of what there is; what you take, you must share.
- My Heart Soars, Chief Dan George

Veg Wisdom

Wild animals never kill for sport. Man is the only one to whom the torture and death of his fellow creatures is amusing in itself. - James Anthony Froude (1818-1894)

Veg Wisdom

The majority of the diseases which the human family have been and still are suffering under, they have created by ignorance of their own organic health, and work perseveringly to tear themselves to pieces, and when broken down and debilitated in body and mind, send for the doctor and drug themselves to death. - Ellen White (1827 - 1915), co-founder Seventh Day Adventists, 1866

Veg Wisdom

Such prosperity as we have known it up to the present is the consequence of rapidly spending the planet's irreplaceable capital. - Aldous Huxley (1894-1963)

The above pages can be as life changing as the reader is receptive. If we open our minds and hearts to new information, we can come to a new harmony about the world around us.

The articles are informative, the edustats are educational, the quotes are enlightening, and all of these can be inspirational. Taken together, they empower us to experience a new level of health, energy, and our interconnectedness with this awesome world.

We can only change when our awareness changes; our awareness changes only when we open the door to new information. We hope you take this information in and prepare to never be the same again.

The door is always there. Go on... nudge it open.

Patrick McDonnell, creator of the Mutts comic strip that is featured in over 700 newspapers. His "Shelter Stories" strips have convinced many people to adopt animals instead of buying them. Other strips gently bring tougher topics like factory farming, fur, and seal hunting to his readers.... Above all, he says, the most important message he tries to convey through Mutts is "have empathy and be kind".
